One day while Peter and Yahya were walking to the temple area at 3:00 p.m. A man who had been lame since birth was brought in. Every day they placed him by the temple gate. The gate is called the "Beautiful Gate" for begging from those who enter the temple.
When that man saw Peter and Yahya going into the temple, he asked for alms. Peter and Yahya looked at him.
Then he said, "Look at us both." So the man looked. What do you think you'll get from both of you?
But Peter said, "We don't have any silver or gold. But what we have, we will give you: In the name of Isha al-Ma'sih, people of Nasrah, walk."
Then Peter took him by the right hand and lifted him up. Immediately his feet and ankles gained strength and he jumped.
Stand up and walk into the temple with Peter and Yahya. Walking and dancing and praising Allah!!
All the people saw him walking and praising Allah. I remembered that he was the man who used to sit and beg for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple. So they were amazed and amazed at what had happened to him.
