Have you ever felt like....
everything around you is daunting, terrifying, and unreliable. Everyone is hypocritical and everywhere you look there is suffering. It’s not always physical suffering, but often suffering of the heart that is difficult to convey.
In spite of that, Nabi David praised the greatness of Allah. Why? Because He is able to heal our hearts. Nabi David knew that the only truly safe place we have is trusting in Allah.
What gave Nabi David this confidence?
In Az-Sabur (Psalms) it says…
“I have sought God, and he answered me and delivered me from all fears. Those who look at him will rejoice. They will not be ashamed.”
Nabi David is a good example to encourage us that looking in any direction is not as safe as looking at Allah. That is where we find peace and safety.
