Chapter 4 Famines, epidemics, and natural disasters will follow.
From the previous episode We talked about War is one of the signs of the end of the world and the return of Prophet Jesus. This time it was a continuation of the prophecy resulting from the war. When there is a war, these things usually happen: famine (As a result of the collapse of the economic system and the hoarding of food by some groups, causing food to become expensive) and disease outbreaks (which are likely caused by biological weapons of war). There are also natural disasters. It will be a sign that Prophet Jesus is about to return again.
In Al-Injeel, Luke 21:10-11 is the record of Prophet Jesus' own prophecy. “Jesus continued: “One country will fight another country. One kingdom will attack and attack another kingdom. There will be a strong earthquake. Famine and disease spread everywhere. There will be terrible things and signs in the heavens.”
From this verse we can see four signs that follow war between nations. And the details are as follows:
1) Earthquakes: We see news about earthquakes all the time. Most recently it happened in our neighboring country and has spread to Thailand. or sometimes results in great damage For example, at the beginning of 2023 in Turkey and Syria, where an earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale caused more than 59,259 deaths and more than 80,000 injuries.
2) Famine: We may not be aware that some countries, mostly in Africa, are experiencing famine. The United Nations estimates that by 2023, 181 million people could die from food shortages. This is an increase from the 2022 projection.
3) Outbreak of disease: It is considered to be the closest thing to everyone. Because we have just gone through the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, we have seen many consequences on our health, life, economy, society, etc. It can be said that our lives have changed in many respects from before. Although the cause of this epidemic is not yet clear. But some have suggested that it may have been caused by a leak. Or was it the intention of releasing this biological weapon epidemic? And who knows that there might be another epidemic like this in the future?
4) Scary things and signs in the sky: In this part, some experts have explained that it means an asteroid or meteorite hitting the earth. It is a terrifying thing that will cause havoc on the world. In recent decades human knowledge has increased. We can detect foreign objects like asteroids or meteorites that will hit the Earth. NASA keeps issuing warnings. At the latest, it is estimated that within 10-20 years, an asteroid 2023DW with a diameter of 50 meters will collide with Earth.
So here we can see that there are four signs: an earthquake, a famine. Plague and scary things in the sky has already happened is happening and will happen again in the future It can be said that these things indicate that Prophet Jesus will return soon.
